On Friday 12 December Carr-Saunders Hall participated in Christmas Jumper Day in order to raise some funds for Save the Children.

Some of the more culinary skilled team members brought in homebaked goods for the occasion, prompting an impromptu bake sale. They set up a table laden with cookies, cakes and hot tea and coffee, and lots of Carr-Saunders students donated to the cause.

There was something on offer to satisfy all tastes.

Sweet treats on offer included chocolate and peanut butter cookies, snickerdoodle cookies, blueberry and lime cake, red velvet cupcakes and gingerbread men.

Almost 150 cakes were consumed in total – Saunders definitely has a sweet tooth!

In total they raised £55.43 for Save the Children and had a great festive time doing it!

Various people popped in throughout the day;

...to show off their wares...

...and others to sample the treats!

A big round of sticky-fingered applause to the festive bakers of Carr-Saunders!
