Residential Services staff at the Graduate Open Evening

Last week, staff and students across Residential Services joined forces to represent the division at the Graduate Open Evening. The Graduate Open Evening is an annual event for prospective graduate students to visit LSE, meet staff and learn more about the courses and services the School offers.

The “Accommodation for Students” stand was buzzing with questions about what LSE offers, how to apply for accommodation, and, of course, which hall is the best. While we couldn’t answer the last question (at least, not without bias!) we had interesting conversations with prospective students and their parents. We handed out information about the benefits of LSE halls of residence and guidance on the private housing market. Five postgraduate Hall Committee members also helped to man the stall and provided valuable insight into the LSE residential experience.

Many thanks to all who took part and for Student Recruitment for organising the event.
