Robert Eaglestone works on contemporary and twentieth century philosophy, literature and literary theory. He is currently working on three books: The Holocaust and the Postmodern, on literature, history and philosophy after the ‘Final Solution’, Postmodernism, on the current state of postmodern thought and culture, and the Cambridge University Press Introduction to Literary Theory.
He has written for the THES, TLS, The Independent and The Guardian. He is the series editor of Routledge Critical Thinkers.
His publications include Ethical Criticism: Reading after Levinas(Edinburgh: Edinburgh University Press, 1997), Doing English (London: Routledge, 1999, 2nd ed 2002), Postmodernism and Holocaust Denial(Cambridge: Icon, 2001).
