As part of a wider discussion on how we can make our halls more welcoming, Rosebery residents raised the issue of lack of quiet study space at the hall.
To help improving the facilities for quiet study, we have opened one of the conference rooms as an additional temporary study place. The room is open until midnight and as you can see, our residents are making good use of it.
Everyone’s really pleased to have this space in addition to the computer room and the dining room (which is only available for study outside meal times, and can be noisy and bustling with activity at times), so that they don’t need to go all the way to the LSE Library to have a quiet place to study.

Well done all. It’s good to see a that a suggestion made at last month’s Residences User Group has been acted upon so quickly.
