Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has given a long speech/interview which is full of disarming insight in to the college friendship site that turned into a global media giant. Ignore the dreadful interviewer and listen to the way you can create a complex internet success out of some very simple principles. As Zuckerberg explains Facebook is not pioneering technology, it’s not even a unique design. It works by extending and expanding the kind of social interaction that people already enjoy and want to celebrate and develop. On the other hand, some people like The Guardian’s Tom Hodgkinson think it is a neo-conservative plot to destroy humanity.
