Thank you for an insightful interview and introductory article about the first female President of Kyrgyzstan. We are very proud of her. Indeed, she is an amazing woman and politician who became the Head of Transition Government and President of the country in time of crisis but she was never elected. No presidential election in June 2010 was held. You might have confused it with Referendum in June 2010.
