Entries are now open for the 2018 Mayor’s Entrepreneur competition for the chance to win £20,000 and a huge endorsement. The aim is to come up with an amazing idea that can make London a better place to live and work. To help you get started they have also set up free workshops where you can hear from past winners and finalists about their entrepreneurial experience, find out how to apply to the competition and what the judges are looking for, as well as gaining valuable feedback on your idea.

Last years winners were Alborz and Ellenor from City University of London who won with their idea Twipes, eco-friendly toilet wipes that disperse within three hours. Their win allowed them to refine their product and get them on track to getting the product into retailers. You can read more about their win here.

If you’re interested in coming up with a great entrepreneurial idea that makes London a better place to live, visit here to apply or book a place on one of their workshops.

Competition closes 18 February 2018.
