ITV’s News at Ten’s ratings are sliding against the BBC after a solid if uninspiring start. Now it’s reported that a slip-up handed an ITV News scoop to their BBC rivals. All launches go through the gamut of emotions from elation (we got on air!) to despair (our rivals are still on air!) to realism (we are exhausted). Let’s all wait a month to judge.
