Making Medicines Digital

A one day research workshop- 5th November 2015, London  10.00 – 16.30

Held at the London School of Economics.

“Really fascinating range of discussions. Frank analysis of current status of systems and policy appreciated. More of the same!”

“Wonderful! Very thought provoking.”

“I greatly enjoyed the day and learned a lot. Thanks for inviting me. I look forward to future interactions!”

This workshop considered the multiple ways that medicines are rendered in digital systems, and the proximal and cumulative/emergent effects.
We explored the implications of considering medicines as ‘new technology’, and in particular the consequence of drugs becoming (by degrees) a digital technology.

Participants were invited to present brief, forward looking and challenging contributions, with the aim to initiate discussion and to discover and share new ideas and new linkages.

(The call for the workshop can be found here).
