We have long been wondering what effects Brexit will have on medicine and medicines post-Brexit. The BMJ is suggesting some of the initial and obvious consequences for: staff from the EU, health coverage for travellers, air quality and public health issues.

However, Hunt did say that the UK will no longer be part of the European system for licensing medicines. What this will mean and how it affects things (trade, medicine regulation and consumption etc) moving into the future remains to be seen. So do many other things, the BMJ suggests.
