We’re excited to announce details of our first ever Careers in Creative Industries programme, which starts 5-9 February. Opportunities to network with alumni working in the sector, hear from experienced panellists, participate in masterclasses from reputation management expert Sheree Dodd and Mother’s Tom Wong and meet with employers working in the PR and communications field over croissants and coffee all feature.
Sheree Dodd’s ‘Managing Issues and Crises’ experiential session focuses on simulating a real-life crisis situation for a major hospital based on her own experience. Expect a fully immersive experience, with the opportunity to participate in a high-profile press conference.
In his Masterclass, Tom Wong, Head of Fame at Mother, the UK’s leading independent creative agency, takes you through an interactive case study giving current, valuable insight into how brand and product perception within target audiences is built and maintained.
LSE professor and Director of Polis Charlie Beckett chairs a distinguished panel on how to develop a career in journalism with panellists from the national press and the BBC.
The Careers in Marketing panel brings together leading marketers from some of the UK’s biggest brands with behavioural scientists pioneering new approaches to consumer insight.
In addition, there’s an alumni careers networking evening for MSc Media and Communications, ‘Meet an Alum‘ sessions with Nina Trentman from the Wall Street Journal and Hannah Kitcher from the The Young Foundation and a coffee morning with the biggest strategic communications agencies.
